Mount Pleasant Soup Kitchen

Maria-Anita Pieterse is a wonder Angel to the people in her community.

She feeds over 200 people a day at her Soup Kitchen which she cooked in her bedroom with a 2 plate gas hob.

With the help of advertising her wonderful work she has now been able to upgrade her facility to a proper outside room where she can cook and people can come in out of the bad weather to get their food.

We donated Soup ingredients from our Christmas in July party and are now also able to assist her on a monthly basis from our Bargain Box Funds.
