On Mandela Day Rotarians went to repaint the symbol at the top of the drive.
Rotary Way is a beautiful scenic drive up the mountain, as you enter Hermanus, just after Mount Pleasant. This road was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hermanus in 1960 when the late Bill Le Bamow suggested it, and with the help of Cyril Gillespie and various members, the road was built by the Caledon Divisional Council and tarred a year later.
