The Rotary Club of Hermanus is devoted to skilling up our young adults. A Skills Development training centre was constructed in the Hemel & Aarde Valley.

Redevelopment of an old Barn on a farm in the Hemel & Aarde Valley.  Developed into 2 classrooms to be used for teaching students who are unlikely to finish High School or be able to enter tertiary education.

Soft skills such as CV writing, presentation of themselves in an interview, budgeting, career guidance, computer skills, life skills, catering skills, etc…

All of the graduates have acquired paid employment after their Skills Training year
